BACK TO SCHOOL DANCE!!!

YAY!!! It is my FAVORITE time of year... when the kids go back to school. I know, I know a Mom is not supposed to be happy to "get rid" of her kids. And believe me, there is a part of me which feels some bittersweet emotions (especially since this is Travis' SENIOR year), but come on!!! I was excited in May when they got out of school, still pumped in June as we had more summer fun ahead, getting a little antsy in July as the weather turned too hot to be anywhere but inside playing cards, and then come August... counting down the days!!! And finally... It's HERE! Travis started his senior year (or should we call it his FLUFF year) taking entrepreneurship (in high school... REALLY?), English, statistics, Facing History and Ourselves, and study hall. Good luck with that tough schedule man! His study hall is last period so he comes home with NO homework, NO job, and a very empty stomach (lunch is at 10:30)! What a life!!! Eva has honors English, honors Chemistry, honors, honors, honors out the ARSE (our new word after completing our summer reading list). She has an activity everyday after school (dance, PRIDE, church, dance, dance, and more dance). But even with all this year is an easier schedule than last. So, back to me and my "back to school dance". For TWO weeks the kids are in school and I am not. Talk about a life! I'm sleeping, reading, cooking, and basically being a bum!
