Yes, I did that!!!

This is the first summer since Eva was born (14 years ago) that I have taken a summer off. Actually, my reduced work load and more flexible schedule began around March, when I went from working 45-50 hours a week to working 15-20. So I have had a real adjustment to make. One of the things I thought I'd try was yardwork. OK... that lasted until the first day of temperatures in the 90s. But there for awhile I was on a roll. I haven't had a yard to play in since I've lived in the condo, so Michael's back yard has been a treat.
One of my finest projects has been a "ball-o-beauty". It is two flower baskets tied together to make a round ball. I then cut holes in the sides of the ball and planted flowers. Although not completely grown in yet, you can see from these picture where it is headed. I think a couple more weeks and there will be no more basket to be seen... only flowers.
I am VERY proud of myself! BTW... thanks to Michael for not strangling me the day I did this. I was not a happy camper.
