MY SWEET, LOVABLE TRAVIS

Several years ago when GrandDa was REALLY into painting, she mentioned to Travis that she liked to paint pictures where people looked natural. She went on to explain that most of the time people are not smiling big, so why do they smile in pictures? Ever since then, Travis has not shown teeth in his pictures. I make fun of him and beg him to smile, but he listens to his GrandDa more than me! Here are some pictures of him not smiling for the camera and one of Michael pointing out to Travis he is not smiling.

But Travis is a sweet, lovable boy. He is SO convinced he will become a professional golfer and practices every chance he gets. He is kind to Eva and I (most of the time) and really a joy to be around. He is not a typical 16 year old boy. He actually is alot of fun to talk to because he is interested in so many things. He has a mind that soaks up all information, so he is full of facts and figures about most topics we bring up. He is curious about so much and has an amazing mind. I am so proud of the man he is becoming and love spending time with him.
