VACATION

I started my vacation on Wednesday. Travis, Eva and I went to Hot Springs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to visit Mom and I. We had a great time. Brooks and Susan came over for dinner Thursday night. I made a presentation to Mom's Ho-Hum group on Friday. Then we headed back home. We play this game whenever we go somewhere. I ask each child what was their favorite thing we did while they were gone. Travis said it was dinner with Brooks and Susan. Eva and I both said it was shopping for beads. We went to a store in Hot Springs called Earth Maiden and they had bin after bin of beads. Eva has started making jewelry, so it was heaven for her. I really enjoyed rummaging through the beads and helping design a new necklace for myself that Eva will make for me. Travis and Eva left for Florida today. Michael is in California so I am home alone. It feels good to spend some time alone, although I really miss them all. I am mainly resting and learning how to blog. It will be a challenge since I often forget my camera and when I have my camera forget to take pictures. But this is a good way to record memories. And since I can't seem to carve out time to scrapbook, this makes alot of sense.
